Porch Pumpkin Co. ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you reserve a porch display or interact with this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

We only collect what you voluntarily give us on the reservation form or in direct communication with our team. That includes:

Name, email address, and phone number
Delivery address (street, city, state, ZIP)
Property notes, package selection, and add-on preferences
Payment details, which are collected and processed by Stripe on our behalf (see Section 3)

We do not collect or store data beyond what you provide directly.

2. How we use your information

We use your information solely to:

Confirm and fulfill your porch display reservation, install, and pickup
Contact you about your order — delivery windows, follow-ups, and any customer service related to your booking
Let you know about next season's offerings, if you have not opted out

We do not use your information for third-party marketing, ad targeting, or data enrichment.

3. Third-party services we rely on

To run the website and process reservations, we rely on a small number of trusted providers. Each handles a specific piece of the operation and each has its own privacy policy governing its portion of the data:

Netlify hosts the website and processes reservation form submissions.
Google Places API powers the address autocomplete field on the reservation form. Only the text you type into the address field is sent to Google.
Stripe processes all payments. We never see, store, or handle your credit card or bank account information — Stripe collects it directly through their secure system.
Google Analytics may be used to measure aggregated site traffic (page views, referrers, browser types). It does not identify individual visitors.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party beyond the operational providers listed above.

4. Data retention

We keep your reservation information for as long as necessary to complete your order and respond to any follow-up. We may retain your contact information across seasons to let you know about future porch display offerings. You can opt out of these communications at any time by replying to any email from us or by contacting us at the address below.

5. Security

We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure — encrypted transmission (HTTPS), reputable third-party providers, and no unnecessary data retention. Please note that no system is fully immune to breach; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your rights

You may contact us at any time to request that we correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Include enough detail in your request to help us find your record (typically the name, email, and address you used on the reservation).

7. Age requirement

Our services and this website are intended for adults age 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use our services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
